Shooting vertical portrait shadow problem?
When I tilt my camera to do vertical portrait, it create vivid shadow of the model. How do I avoid that?
I do not have lighting equipment, just an external flashlight, Nikon SB 800.
As a matter of fact, how to avoid shadow result in most cases?

Have your model stand at least five feet away from the background.
Use your SB 800 as a slave and mount it on a stand and use it as a key light ... you can use the "Commander Mode" on your camera to trigger it using its radio control
