I have been comparing the prices of D-SLR cameras on ebay, and I'm unsure of the differance between the manufactors lens kit and an aftermarket kit. Are the aftermarket kits compariable quality or shoul I go with the manufactors?
In the end it is the quality of the lens that makes the image. If you buy a great name brand camera and then try to save money by putting an inferior aftermarket lens on there you could just as well have gone cheap for everything.
